The Makita DA3010F Right Angle Drill is slightly different to your usual models in the fact that it is fitted with a white LED light which will aid the user when drilling in areas of low light. The Makita DA3010F is light in the hands, weighing in at only 3.1 lbs which is ideal if the area required to be drilled is tight and only one hand can be used. The size is smaller than many similar right angle drills, with a reduced head height of 2-5/8 inches, also good for those limited areas.

It was plain to see that the majority of consumers had some very good things to say about the Makita DA3010F and there were of couple of niggles that we will also discuss. But first lets take a look at the positive
Everyone agreed that the Makita DA3010F was perfect for those jobs where you just cannot get a standard drill into. One commented that "I was not even aware that you could but such a drill as this, and when I was going to have to drill in-between some wall studs I initially looked online for an attachment for my drill that would allow me to do this. When I came across the range of right angle drills I settled on the Makita DA3010F and was not disappointed. Completed the drilling effortlessly and have used on numerous other projects since. Once you but this drill you will wonder how you ever did without it."
Most others also mention the compact size and how lightweight it is. Many customers choose the Makita DA3010F over others not just because of the powerful motor but because of the LED light which aids when having to work in lofts, basements of other poorly lit places.
2 reviewers spoke about the drills chuck. One mentioned that the chuck would not keep the bits secure and was unsure whether this was just him or maybe a defective unit and would be returning to see if a new one would solve that issue. The second person thought it would be a good idea if the drill had a safety switch to prevent you from starting the drill accidentally whilst changing the drill bit. A good point, which can easily be solved by unplugging the unit before doing so.
